The Roughneck Championship is the only team major on tour and is usually played on a course that embodies the spirit of Texas and The HRT. This year’s tournament will take place in San Marcos, TX at Kissing Tree GC.

The H-Town Open is the official Major of the city of Houston and is typically held at a revolving circuit of 5 courses in the Houston area. This year’s Major will take place at Cypresswood Traditions.

Held at Moody Gardens GC along the windy shores of Galveston, TX, the Gulf Coast Open is the most elegant Major out of the 4. The links style course and the high winds make this tournament the hardest Major on The HRT.

The Players is the first major test on The HRT which is typically held in March. The tournament is held at High Meadow Ranch each year and gives players a chance to test their skills on one of the hardest courses in the Houston area.

The Turtlebox Invitational challenges the skill-set of the players as the event will be played from the tips and no breakfast ball is allowed. The event will take place at Eagle Pointe GC.

HRT Playoff Cup - 1st Round
The Team Championship is the ultimate showdown at the end of the regular season to crown a team champion at Gus Wortham GC. Teams will be given an advantage based on point standings going into the Team Championship. 1 tournament will decide which team takes home the prize money and is crowned the first ever HRT Team Champion.

The first round of the HRT Playoff Cup will take place at The Wilderness, a top 10 public golf course in Texas. The top 8 players in the regular season individual rankings will square off in a 9-hole matchplay contest on the front 9. The semi-final will take place on the back 9 and determine who will meet up in the HRT Playoff Cup Finals.

The season finale will take place at Blackhorse North to crown the 2024 HRT Champion. Players will compete in an 18-hole matchplay event. There will be two matches which will decide 1st and 2nd place as well as 3rd and 4th place. The winner of the distinguished tour will walk away with the HRT Playoff Cup and a nice lump sum of money.
All-Star Weekend
All-Star Weekend at East River 9
The first ever All-Star weekend will take place during the middle of the season on June 6th at East River 9. The tournament format will consist of 2 captains (60% player vote/ 20% fan vote / 20% HRT committee vote) that will pick teams of 8. The two teams will compete against each other in a Ryder Cup style format which consists of a best

The two teams will compete against each other in a Ryder Cup style format which consists of a best-ball match with 2 players on each team (2 overall teams & 2 players within each te will compete in a best-ball match).
